C++ Software Engineer

Location: Scottsdale, AZ Hybrid (Remote work possible for the right candidate)

  • Proficiency with C++
  • Experienced with Kubernetes K8s
  • Experience with Government Rancher Kubernetes Engine (RK2E)
  • Experience with building and deploying Kubernetes PODs and ReplicaSets
  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience with DevSecOps (Gitlab, GitlabRunner, SAST, DAST, NeuVector, Ansible, or similar automation tools)
  • A Plus if Experience with Longhorn, Argo, ArgoCD, Keycloak, Persistent Volumes, Terraform
  • A Plus if Experience with bash, Python or other scripting languages

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled C++ Software Engineer to join our team. You will work on the development and enhancement of a critical communication system that provides high-quality, reliable communication services to forces in challenging environments. The role involves developing software in a Linux environment with modern C++ constructs while supporting a live system and adding new capabilities.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in C++ Software Engineering.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree.
  • Agile experience.
  • Embedded real-time operating systems (VxWorks, Integrity, PetaLinux) and significant C++ programming experience.
  • Ability to lead the software development process.
  • Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges creatively.
  • Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success.
  • Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements.
