Description ACARA Solutions and our client in Scottsdale, AZ have a contract-to hire position available C++ Software Engineer Location: Scottsdale, AZ Hybrid (Remote work possible for the right candidate) Proficiency with C++ Experienced with Kubernetes K8s Experience with Government Rancher Kubernetes Engine (RK2E) Experience with building and deploying Kubernetes PODs and ReplicaSets Experience with Docker Experience with DevSecOps (Gitlab, GitlabRunner, SAST, DAST, NeuVector, Ansible, or similar automation tools) A Plus if Experience with Longhorn, Argo, ArgoCD, Keycloak, Persistent Volumes, Terraform A Plus if Experience with bash, Python or other scripting languages Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled C++ Software Engineer to join our team. You will work on the development and enhancement of a critical communication system that provides high-quality, reliable communication services to forces in challenging environments. The role involves developing software in a Linux environment with modern C++ constructs while supporting a live system and adding new capabilities. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics. Minimum of 5 years experience in C++ Software Engineering. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Master's Degree. Agile experience. Embedded real-time operating systems (VxWorks, Integrity, PetaLinux) and significant C++ programming experience. Ability to lead the software development process. Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges creatively. Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success. Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements.
