As Manager, Auto Transport Dispatch and Logistics, you'll take the wheel of high-performance operations that power the flow of autos, trucks, and freight between ports, warehouses, and railroads. From California to Hawaii, your leadership will keep us moving, delivering excellence at every mile. What You'll Lead & Own Run the Show: Direct dispatch operations across multiple terminals, managing everything from Terminal-to-Dealer deliveries to Hawaii-bound cargo. Optimize Every Mile: Monitor Westbound and Eastbound shipments, ensuring tight connections and on-time execution. Reduce the Waste, Boost the Speed: Monitor drayage, transit times, and per diem costs - and create smart strategies to reduce them. Power with Data: Analyze KPIs, generate actionable reports, and drive performance improvement across all transportation workflows. Inspire the Frontlines: Lead dispatch teams, drivers, and third-party vendors to meet goals with pride, precision, and urgency. Coach for Impact: Train, evaluate, and guide personnel to operate efficiently and safely - while nurturing a high-performance culture. Keep the Wheels Turning: Oversee vehicle maintenance and repair schedules, ensuring cost-effective fleet operations. Strengthen the Network: Build strong partnerships with vendors, negotiate service terms, and resolve any issues swiftly and professionally. What You Bring to the Table Academic Foundation: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or equivalent experience. Real-World Expertise: 5+ years in transportation/dispatch operations and 2+ years of supervisory leadership. License to Drive & Lead: Valid state-issued driver's license and Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC). Well-Rounded & Ready: Experience in third-party vendor management, fleet coordination, and delivery scheduling. Standout Skills That Set You Apart Logistics Knowledge: Expertise in line-haul carriage operations, capacity planning, and compliance regulations. Analytical Thinking: Strong quantitative skills with a sharp eye for identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. Communication Mastery: Clear, confident communicator - written and verbal - with top-tier customer relationship abilities. Technology Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); bonus points for inventory/audit background. Starting pay will be determined by job-related factors including experience, education, and business needs and may be modified at any time. Zone 2: $95,000 - $105,000 This job is also eligible for participation in an Incentive Plan with a target payout based on eligible compensation and corporate/individual performance goal attainment.
