Assembler - 2nd Shift Location:Owego, NY Job ID: #70775 Pay Range: $18-20 Shift: MON - THU 4/10 four 10 hr days on 2nd Shift3:30pm - 1:30am Open only to: US Citizens & US Persons Experience: 6 months of assembly experience required The Company-Work with one of the Largest American Owned Aerospace & Defense Companies. JOB DESCRIPTION: Work may be repetition or not repetitious, it ay be electrical, mechanical or electro-mechanical type work Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools,. Makes continuity/quality checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions OTHER QUALIFICATION: Must have high school diploma or GED Must pass drug test & background check Must be fluent reading & speaking English Be flexible to work overtime if needed on Fridays or Saturdays 1yr of assembly experience required Aerospace or aviation Assembly experience is a plus Work hours would be 3:30pm - 1:30am M-Th Benefits provided:401K,medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
