Position Description
ERT is seeking a Senior Cloud Programmer Analyst to serve as in-house expert on Agile/Scrum adoption, facilitate scrum ceremonies for the team (Daily Stand-up, Planning, Retrospective, Grooming & Review/Demo) building solutions in the Cloud. Will coach team in agile frameworks. Work with product owners to handle backlogs, user story development, backlog grooming and others. Track and produce key metrics (e.g., burndown, burnup, cumulative flow, velocity, etc.). Utilizes team feedback to identify areas of opportunity and improve team efficiency and delivery. Serve as an Agile Expert who is responsible and drives the team to deliver product increments.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Understanding of system capabilities and how the capabilities can meet the client's business objectives.
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience coaching teams to improve collaboration and self-organization.
  • Experience with AWS

Desired Skills

  • 5+ years of experience working on Cloud Implementations
  • Good working experience in Linux/Unix
  • Track record with large cloud programs
  • Experience with the core AWS services - AWS S3, SQS, SNS
  • Knowledge of Programming Language Python, Perl
  • Strong understanding of security best practices (using IAM Roles, KMS)
  • Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform
  • Knowledge of the serverless approaches using AWS Lambda is a plus
  • Knowledge of RDS PostgreSQL, DynamoDB and data modeling
  • Knowledge of Gitlab
  • Knowledge and Experience in Agile development methodology
  • Must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident and able to pass a background investigation to obtain a security badge to enter the applicable government facility.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred.

Location
This position is located on-site at NSOF in Suitland, MD. Some telework may be permitted.

Salary
The salary range for this role is $62,000 - $275,000/year. This range is a good faith estimate based on similar roles across the organization. ERT considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including the location, scope, and associated responsibilities of the specific position, as well as a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
