Position Description
ERT is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst to support theNational Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Duties include:
- Manage and execute cloud security solutions across lifecycle strategy, design, implementation, and operations
- Serve as the forward-thinking leader in cloud security with a strong understanding of NOAA enterprise security mandates as well as NOAA enterprise cloud initiatives
- Responsible for cloud native security services adoption and integration with NOAA enterprise systems
- Prepare and review Cloud security architecture. Must possess an extensive knowledge of security requirements, documentation, and risk
- Provide domain expertise in both public and private cloud and enterprise technology
Required Skills
10+ years of relevant experience.
- Must possess a strong understanding of Cloud information flows and the process architecture necessary to implement cloud security. Will use information technology to plan, prepare, and execute cloud-related security tasks.
- Experience building enterprise security strategy for cloud adoption or driving the program's evolution to meet new requirements
- Experience with NIST security controls and implementation in federal systems, familiarity with CSAM, NOAA security processes
- Experience working with AWS Security, Identity, and Compliance Services
- Experience working with AWS Management and Governance products
- Must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident and able to pass a background investigation to obtain a security badgeto access applicable government facilities/systems.
Education
BS in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent. MS preferred.
Location
This position is located on-site at NSOF in Suitland, MD. Some telework may be permitted.
Salary
The salary range for this role is $62,000 - $275,000/year. This range is a good faith estimate based on similar roles across the organization. ERT considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including the location, scope, and associated responsibilities of the specific position, as well as a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
