The HR Manager is responsible for daily operations of HR department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of Paragon's mission and talent strategy. This position will also perform Paragon's Facility Security Officer (FSO) duties.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand Paragon's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention
  • Comply with policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support Paragon's HR compliance and strategy needs
  • Administer and oversee HR programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
  • Comply with EEO guidelines and provide reports.
  • Collect and analyze workforce data (e.g., turnover, diversity) for decision-making.
  • Identify staffing/recruiting needs; manage talent capture
  • Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from organization's HR information system (HRIS) or talent management system
  • Perform the duties of Paragon's Facility Security Officer (FSO)
    1. Maintain Personnel Security Clearances IAW NISP
    2. Maintain Paragon's Facility Clearance IAW NISP
    3. Respond promptly to security incidents

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years personnel management experience
  • At least 3 years of organization level managerial/leadership
  • Experience in management of 100+ employees is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management; proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to needs of organization and employees.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws/regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Compensation:

The salary at Paragon is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000 (USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Paragon's total compensation package for employees.
