The ServiceNow SME is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow's HR Service Delivery (HRSD) and Workplace Service Delivery (WSD) modules within FDIC Divisions and Offices, supporting IT business needs. The Salary for this position is up to $195,000 (depending on experience) Key Responsibilities:
Process Improvement & Optimization
- Utilizes functional area expertise gained through direct industry experience to assess the operational and functional baseline of an organization and its organizational components. Guides the determination of information technology inadequacies and/or deficiencies that affect the functional area's ability to support/meet organizational goals
- Collaborate with HR and workplace teams to analyze current processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Design and implement streamlined workflows that leverage ServiceNow capabilities to reduce manual tasks and increase efficiency.
- Analyze existing workflows, associate them to proper product/portfolio suites and recommend process improvements.
- Advise on innovative approaches to process automation in the operational activities these suites are designed to improve. Identify opportunities for the FDIC to obtain business value from ServiceNow's offerings, data reuse, and configurations.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
- Collaborate and comply with necessary FDIC governance bodies such as Configuration Technical Review Board (CTRB), Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Security Impact Assessment (SIA) reviews and follow the FDIC defined release management process and guidelines.
- Align ServiceNow capabilities with industry best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Works with senior managers and executives to provide industry vision and strategic direction with regard to their enterprise.
- Act as a liaison between CIOO technical teams and business stakeholders within FDIC Divisions and Offices to ensure that system configurations meet business needs.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote user adoption and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
System Maintenance and Support:
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to HRSD and WSD modules.
- Manage regular system updates and ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
Documentation and Training:
- Develop comprehensive documentation for system configurations, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of the ServiceNow platform.
Qualifications
Required Competencies:
- Minimum 8 years of industry experience
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience in implementing and managing ServiceNow HRSD and WSD modules
- Strong understanding of HR processes and workplace service delivery best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Possessexcellent communication skills with the ability to effectively translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
Education:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have a Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one.
