CAD/BIM Design Technology Specialist I

Delve Underground is looking for a Design Technology professional for our New York office. Proficiency with AutoCAD design & drafting software and familiarity with Revit is required. Familiarity with Autodesk's Civil 3D and Inventor (or similar) is also a plus. The successful candidate with be responsible for documentation preparation and interdisciplinary coordination for heavy civil, underground projects focusing on transportation and water conveyance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed engineering drawings and documents based on sketches, redline markups, and information based on verbal instructions and notes provided by designers and engineers.
  • Understands CAD/BIM requirements and adheres to standards.
  • Participates in Design Technology Practice Group initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experienced using the latest version of AutoCAD.
  • 0 - 4 years of Design Technology experience
  • Basic understanding of drawing presentation & organization.
  • General knowledge of engineering mathematics and ability to perform basic engineering computations.
  • Strong personal organization and time management skills as well as the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
