Intralox, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, L.L.C., and a global provider of conveyance solutions and services, has an opening for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer within the Digital Solutions (DS) team. The DS team is leading Intralox's implementation and evolution of our enterprise business applications and new digital solutions. DS is more than just an IT department - we are business domain experts, software engineers, and operational support resources that use technology to bring more value to customers and to Intralox.
As our quality assurance practices continue to mature, this member of our team will help drive our manual and test automation efforts, particularly using Tosca to test a complex business domain within Oracle EBS and associated custom web applications that supplement EBS functionality. Apart from maintaining and enhancing an automated testing suite, this Quality Assurance Engineer will also manually feature test work produced by Oracle EBS techno-functional developers during a two-week Agile sprint cadence. This role will report to a Software QA Automation Architect Manager and work with a diverse team of technical and business experts. The individual in this role will navigate a broad range of technically complex projects for different departments and cross functional owners. They will be essential to introducing various projects related to the core functionality of our customer service and manufacturing operations. This person will use their domain knowledge to enhance our automated test suite while driving best quality assurance practices.

* Manually test functional changes to Oracle EBS within a multi-environment deployment pipeline.
* Creation of template, module, and test design sheet to document and enhance Tosca scripts
* Script and optimize automation scripts within Tosca for accurate and efficient test execution.
* Conduct reviews of test cases, test plans, test execution reports, and other relevant documentation.
* Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report any issues or defects.
* Use Tosca reporting and analytics features to generate insights from test results and contribute to continuous improvement.
* Participate in the review and refinement of requirements and specifications documentation with a scrum team.
* Creating and maintaining detailed, compressive, and well-structured test plans and test cases that cover both functional and non-functional requirements.
o Consulting with business partners to ensure that provided test plans sufficiently cover use cases with consideration of both happy and error paths.
o Supplementing or developing test cases as needed to improve or create test plans while documenting these plans for future use and automation where appropriate.
o Developing a deep domain knowledge to be able to catch edge cases and regression test change sets beyond published test plans.
* Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities within development and QA teams.
o Communicating any issues uncovered with in-progress work to the developer for implementation.
o Documenting any newly discovered defects in Jira and/or ServiceNow.
o Collaborating with business partners to coordinate UAT testing of large features.
o Assisting other development teams to provide testing bandwidth on an as-needed basis.
o Assisting broader QA team in regression testing artifacts as they move through the deployment pipeline.
* Creating and maintaining quality metrics to track improvements to our core products.
* Developing software quality assurance standards and processes.
* Adhering to documented quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
* BS in Computer Science or a related field.
* 3 or more years of experience as a software quality assurance engineer.
* 2 or more years of experience testing Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud Applications.
* Tosca AS1, AS2, AE1 & TD1 Certifications.
* 2 or more years of hands-on experience using Tosca Tool Suite.
* Good knowledge on usage of Test Case Design, Template Data Sheets & Tosca Data Service (TDS).
Desired Qualifications:
* Experience writing queries in Oracle PL/SQL.
* Experience with Postman for API testing.
Position is 90% remote, with roughly 2 weeks per year required in an office located in Harahan, LA, USA (part of the Greater New Orleans area) |
