The Senior Director of Talent and Leadership Development is responsible for defining and executing a high-impact leadership and talent strategy that builds a strong pipeline of future leaders and enhances leadership capability across the enterprise. This role ensures the integration of leadership competencies, succession planning, and executive development to drive business success. Leading a team of senior talent and leadership development professionals, the Senior Director partners with executives to create a culture of continuous growth and leadership excellence, positioning TransUnion as a leader in talent development.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven expertise in leadership and talent development strategy, program design, and facilitation.

  • Strong understanding of leadership competency frameworks and their application in leadership development and succession planning.

  • Deep experience in talent and succession planning, including identifying high-potential talent and critical role succession strategies.

  • Expertise in leadership assessments, executive coaching frameworks, and team effectiveness strategies.

  • Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and develop senior leaders.

  • Experience partnering with senior executives to drive enterprise-wide talent discussions and initiatives.

  • Collaborative mindset with strong ability to influence and drive change across a complex and matrixed organization.

  • Strong executive presence, communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability in team leadership to provide strategic direction, define operating plan and coach to execution.

Impact You'll Make:

  • Define and implement the strategy for leadership and management development, designing and delivering impactful content and programs.

  • Embed TransUnion's leadership competency framework programmatically across leadership cycles.

  • Evolve and implement the company's talent and succession planning frameworks to identify critical roles, assess high-potential talent, and develop robust succession plans.

  • Develop and execute follow through actions to close succession gaps and ensure leadership readiness.

  • Create and drive strategies for enterprise-wide talent discussions at the executive level, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Establish a leadership assessment and profiling strategy to assess leadership potential and succession readiness.

  • Develop and implement frameworks for executive coaching programs to support leader growth and capability development.

  • Partner with talent acquisition to ensure proactive market mapping for critical roles and forecasted openings.

  • Lead strategy and facilitation for leadership team effectiveness, including leveraging diagnostic tools and designing tailored sessions.

  • Drive best-in-class leadership development and talent management practices, continuously evolving approaches to meet organizational needs.

  • Collaborate closely with HR and business leaders to ensure leadership and talent strategies align with the company's broader strategic objectives.

  • Measure the impact of leadership and talent development initiatives, leveraging data and insights to refine and enhance programs.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information : The U.S. base salary range for this position is $166,800.00 - $250,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
