About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to support our Technology team as an Intern- Restaurant Technology AI based in Shelton, CT. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented college graduate or about to graduate, with a major in data or AI, to join our team as an AI Intern. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio of AI projects and be passionate about using data and AI to drive innovation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work on AI projects to develop and implement innovative solutions.
• Assist in the design, development, and deployment of AI models.
• Conduct research on the latest AI trends and technologies.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze data, build prototypes that can be converted into projects.

Qualifications:

• Student must be enrolled at a four (4) year college or university for the duration of the internship.
• Undergraduate students must have completed at least minimum of 75 credit hours (rising Senior).
• Overall cumulative minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) required.
• Academic Majors: Pursuing degree in Data Science or Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be willing to be on site in Shelton during the internship.
• Portfolio of AI projects to share preferred.
• Experience in AI use case development, with a focus on Generative AI (LLMs, image generation, etc.) and AI agents.
• Proficiency in Python or R, with the ability to process and analyze large datasets.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and LLM toolkits.
• Experience with Azure AI services, such as Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and Azure Machine Learning, Azure Foundry.
• Understanding of AI agent architectures, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and automation workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.

Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, qualifications, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
