Role & Responsibilities:

As a SOLIDWORKS Role Portfolio Manager, you will have the enviable role of defining the direction and strategy that the SOLIDWORKS/3DEXPERIENCE products will take, ensuring that the SOLIDWORKS brand continues its market growth, provides intuitive user experiences, and integrates with other Dassault Systemes' solutions. To achieve these goals, you will continuously research the market, listen to user feedback, understand the competition, and work with SOLIDWORKS and Dassault Systemes strategy teams to develop the right vision for SOLIDWORKS products.

Analyze and understand the market, including competitive landscape, trends/technologies, partners, etc. Propose new refined product/business strategies based on market coverage, Points of Differentiation, and Points of Parity.

Provide input to the SOLIDWORKS strategy team on market segmentation to define trends and SWOT, market opportunities, and risks

* Create and nurture relationships with customers, users, and prospects

* Build a 3-year SOLIDWORKS strategy plan to support brand/industry growth plans

* Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and the whole SOLIDWORKS ecosystem to ensure successful launch, support, and influence Go to Market initiative

* Engineer and execute a rolling 18-months roles portfolio plan

* Collect customer scenarios and use cases to support a rolling 18-months plan and improve roles and applications

* Support key customers

CREATE

* Create and execute a rolling 18-24 months plan

* Collect customers' scenario and use cases to improve products & applications

* Support key customer sales opportunities to promote the portfolio and ensure customer success

* Define the packaging and pricing for each role in collaboration with R&D development & pricing teams

* Ensure strategic and organizational alignment to support new initiatives with industry, R&D, sales, marketing, operations, and finance

PRODUCE

* Assess and validate product readiness for launch as part of the implement process in relation with R&D and QA

* Define content and apps requirements to allow a defined user to achieve their tasks during a working day, eventually if relevant in the context of Dassault Systemes' Industry Process Experiences

* Create and deliver roles and apps collateral for each product release, content for internal trainings, sales kit etc., for all apps and for each release.

* Articulate the value of roles & applications through stories, demonstrations, videos, etc.

ADVOCATE

* Be an evangelist for our products and technologies at internal & external events

* Actively engage and communicate with all internal and external key stakeholders

* Comply with all related R&D process, meet key activity and performance indicators

Qualifications & Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field of study

* Strong knowledge of the MCAD industry is required

* At least 5 years of PDM/PLM experience is preferred - managing, selling, consulting, or using

* Strong CAD background - managing, selling, consulting, or using

* Ability to manage multiple projects independently from start to finish, set and meet deadlines, and interact positively with employees at all levels, external vendors, resellers, prospects, and customers.

* Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

* Experience in image/video recording and editing tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, etc.

* Ability to understand and communicate complex technical subjects in a clear and concise manner

* Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

"Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $105,000 to $110,000 representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus". Dassault Systemes offers an excellent salary with potential for bonus, commensurate with experience.
