Video: What We Do Join Our Team of Aviation Experts! We are looking for experienced Engine Mechanic to join our amazing team. This position is for our 1^st shift (5:30 AM to 2:00 PM) Plus, you'll receive a tooling sign-on bonus of $1,500! What You'll Do: Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble complete gas turbine engines according to FAA and manufacturer specifications. Work independently on routine maintenance procedures with minimal supervision. Perform precise measurements and inspections to determine component serviceability. Use specialized tools including torque wrenches, micrometers, and dial indicators. Complete accurate documentation for all work performed. Collaborate with a team of skilled mechanics on complex engine overhauls. Support both commercial aviation clients and industrial power customers. What You Bring: 2+ years of hands-on experience with aircraft engine or gas turbine overhauls. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Experience with precision measuring tools and inspection equipment. Commitment to quality and attention to detail. Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed. Preferred Qualifications: A&P License Experience with industrial gas turbines (LM2500, LM6000) Background in commercial aviation or military aircraft maintenance Previous MRO facility experience Why Choose Chromalloy?
