Leadership and Management Responsibilities



  • Embody the Credit Union's core values of Trust Integrity, Teamwork and Making a Difference and ensure all facilities staff members embody these core values and apply them in daily activities.
  • Supervises multi-disciplinary team including company employees and service providers for maintenance, security, grounds and custodial workers.
  • Provide leadership, direction, guidance, coaching, mentoring, performance evaluations, training, motivation, and discipline to staff to ensure they meet and exceed the Credit Union's service standards, achieve performance goals and ensure superior customer service.
  • Develop objectives for facilities staff consistent with strategic and operating plans, monitor progress toward achievement of objectives, and engage in a regular dialogue with direct reports on progress toward objectives.
  • In consultation with Human Resources, promote and/or transfer, dismiss or change the status of employees as well as ensure succession planning is in place for future management staff.
  • Reinforce continuously respectful communication between all departments.
  • Emphasize and promote professional and ethical conduct in daily interactions.


Operational Responsibilities



  • Planning, directing, coordinating and budgeting for all company buildings and property maintenance and repair including supervising, hiring personnel, and vendor selection.
  • Manage overall access and issuance of keys, key cards, and alarm codes to employees.
  • Coordinates and directs interoffice moves and space planning.
  • Ensures that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards.
  • Overseas project planning and management of remodel construction on all company property.
  • Develops company safety program including lifting procedures, personal protective equipment, and emergency evacuation procedures and complies with all company safety policies.
  • Ensure that general maintenance is completed on all buildings.
  • Utilizes company vehicle as needed during business hours to fulfill position requirements.
  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to: OSHA, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • Maintain integrity and ethics in all actions and conversations with or regarding credit union members and their accounts; comply with privacy act directives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and can be available to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management.
  • Manage the facilities helpdesk to ensure open tickets are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.


Certificates, Licenses and Registrations



  • Valid driver's license is required for this position.
  • FMP or CFM certification preferred

Education
Bachelors (preferred)
Experience
5-10 years of exp in the field of commercial construction and a working knowledge of general building maintenance. (required)
