A day in the life...

As a Packer, you will work on the end of the line and you are the last person to handle the candy before it is packaged for our customers. A successful person in this role will be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, be a team player, and have the flexibility to work across various areas. This is a Temporary position with the opportunity for full-time employment based on performance and business needs.

What you will be doing...

This job posting is not all inclusive and other duties may be assigned.



  • Packing only first quality candy.
  • Requesting, receiving, securing, maintaining, packing, and delivering product (raw and finished) per Russell Stover guidelines.
  • Understanding specifications for each type of product as established by Russell Stover Chocolates and recognize deviations from those specifications.
  • Performing clean-up activities as assigned.
  • Controlling waste on the line.
  • Notifying leads or supervisor if inferior candy, wrong bases, incorrect description, incomplete boxes or other pertinent questions
  • Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines to ensure product quality and uphold food safety standards.
  • Documenting food safety and quality procedures, maintaining detailed records of monitoring, verification, and corrective actions.
  • Learning to Identify and address potential food safety hazards, process deviations, or non-conformities, while maintaining proactive communication with supervisors.

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to routinely and frequently stand, stoop, bend and lift overhead.
  • Ability to stand on hard surfaces for the duration of shift.
