Job Title: Product Owner - Services Localization Tools
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to manage proprietary tools created for the Services Localization team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering requirements for scalable, user-friendly features, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving product updates from conception to launch. You will also work closely with Engineering Project Managers during sprint planning, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure that end users are well-informed about product updates. This role demands a blend of organizational, operational, and analytical skills, as well as the flexibility to navigate ambiguity and evolving requirements. Key Responsibilities:
Product Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of internal tools or enterprise software products, from ideation and development to launch and continuous improvement.
Collaboration: Drive cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements, review UX designs, and ensure feature implementation aligns with user needs.
Sprint Planning: Partner with Engineering Project Managers to manage sprint planning, ensuring timely delivery of product features.
User Testing & Adoption: Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of new features and lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new products.
Communication: Effectively communicate product updates to end users and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.
Strategic Planning: Analyze and prioritize multiple requests based on leadership goals, while managing projects with tight deadlines.
Problem-Solving: Use analytical thinking to design solutions that address user problems and align with global organizational goals and strategy.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor product performance and gather feedback for ongoing enhancements and optimizations.
Key Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience managing products, preferably internal tools or enterprise software solutions, overseeing their lifecycle from inception to launch and beyond.
Human Interface Design: Expertise in human interface design, ensuring products are intuitive and user-friendly.
Strategic Thinking: Strong strategy skills to analyze requests and prioritize them according to leadership's goals.
Technical Understanding: Familiarity with technical concepts related to product management, such as software development, database management, and system integration.
Analytical Skills: Ability to think analytically to understand user problems and design holistic solutions that align with organizational goals.
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and departments.
