Your Role

Are you passionate about ensuring everything runs seamlessly? Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards. Your hands-on expertise will be vital in keeping our facilities in top-notch condition, enabling us to deliver outstanding products and services. As part of the facilities department, you will report to the Facilities Team Leader. This is an on-site position located in Voorheesville, NY.

As a Maintenance Technician:

• You will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of all facility properties.
• You will contribute to team objectives, goals, and work plans.
• You will identify and implement solutions to system problems.
• You will maintain communication with tech support providers and equipment manufacturers for maintenance of facility and equipment.
• You will actively participate in continuous improvement of maintenance processes and make recommendations to improve cost and quality of processes.
• You will ensure timely implementation of assigned projects and programs through final acceptance.
• You will perform the installation and maintenance of facility properties including:
  
  
  
  • Production machinery
  • Building maintenance of plumbing, power distribution, lighting, and light carpentry.
  • Grounds maintenance.
  • Vehicle maintenance.
  • Janitorial maintenance.
  
  
  
  
• You will work with and direct contractors as needed.
• You will order and maintain supply of materials.
• You will use Atlas Copco's computerized maintenance management system.
• You will use tools and equipment including, but not limited to industrial lift trucks, standard hand tools, machine tools, measuring tools, and analysis and diagnostic equipment.

We are looking for hands-on workers with:

• An associate's degree or equivalent experience in construction, electrical, electronics, mechanical, and/or computer technology.
• The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn and improve through technical training programs.
