Your Impact

The Workplace Applications Engineering team manages a wide array of products which are used by every employee at the firm. E-mail is a critical piece of how we do business, and we're looking for someone to join the team that is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the e-mail infrastructure at the firm. This ranges from designing and implementing highly available systems to serving as the final point of escalation for business critical issues within our products.

How will you fulfill your potential?

• Engineer and implement solutions in coordination with global, cross-functional teams
• Assist during incidents and act as an escalation point for 1st and 2nd level support teams
• Being on-call 12x7, once a quarter (Schedule subject to change)

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working within an enterprise environment as an infrastructure engineer or operations role
• Experience with Microsoft and/or Linux servers and services
• Experience with Proofpoint Protection Server, Sendmail (either Open Source or Sentrion), or similar open source software
• Moderate (or higher) development experience with at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Python or Bash
• Familiarity with git workflows and/or Infrastructure as Code methodologies
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of modern networking technologies and how they operate (switches, routers, firewalls, etc)
• Strong communication skills, transparency, and ownership
• Strong problem solving skills coupled with quick learning in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with change and incident management processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with administering modern versions of Microsoft Exchange
• Experience with integrating M365 based offerings into complex environments
• Experience with Data Loss Prevention solutions including Microsoft Purview Information Protection
• Experience with system automation
• Experience with working in large, heavily regulated organizations
