Job Title: Business Development Manager - Healthcare and MRO Job Overview:The Business Development Manager - Healthcare & MRO will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic relationships with key accounts in the healthcare and MRO sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling CPG products into these commercial markets and the ability to drive sales growth through effective business development strategies. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive sales growth in the commercial healthcare and MRO markets. Identify, target, and establish relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare facilities, industrial maintenance organizations, and other relevant commercial entities. Manage and nurture existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product development, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development initiatives. Be the voice of the Customer for internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics, and use this information to identify new business opportunities. Develop and present compelling business proposals and sales presentations to potential clients. Negotiate contracts and agreements with new and existing clients to secure long-term partnerships. Monitor and report on account performance, including sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction metrics. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial sales, with a proven track record of selling CPG products into healthcare and MRO channels. Strong understanding of the commercial healthcare and MRO markets, including key players, market dynamics, and emerging trends. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant sales tools and technologies. Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
