Online Registration Manager for Events

Be part of The Collective at BCD M&E!

We are looking for confident, fearless, client-facing self-starters who want to project manage the online registration and registrant customer service process for our events and meetings. You have to thrive in data and reporting and love to work within a collaborative team environment!

Our online registration projects are not for the faint of heart. You are an integral part of the event logistics planning team. The registration manages concurrent multi-faceted, online registrations for events with 100 to over 10,000 registrants. Sometimes you are the sole registration manager assigned to an event... sometimes you are tag teaming with other registration managers. This role also has opportunities to travel onsite to support event operations.

NOTE: If you are based near or in the Chicagoland area, for the first 6 months, you will be required to work out of our downtown Chicago office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Monday and Fridays work from home. After 6 months, based on performance, you may be eligible for an extra day from home.

Your responsibilities

• Leading the online registration process for assigned events ensuring data integrity and reporting using event technology databases and Excel
• Handling registrant inquires via email and phone ensuring customer service excellence
• Participating as a proactive and collaborative member of the assigned event logistics planning team providing solutions for our customers and event attendees

You're good at

• Excel reporting and detail and data integrity
• Leading projects, adhering to timelines and adjusting to curve balls
• Workload managements and expectation setting
• Critical thinking, emotional intelligence and collaborative communication to problem solve
• Learning databases and optimizing on the online registration experience

You might also have

• Hands on registration and reporting experience (Cvent a BIG plus)
• Knowledge of hotel blocks and attrition
• Worked in monday.com
• Degree in Hospitality

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Registration Manager is between $51,700 - $70,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
