Pay Rate.- $18.00/hr. on w2

Location: 8895 E. Main Street Reynoldsburg OH 43068

Duration: 3+ months (possible extension)

Working Hrs.: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Must have :

  • Admin experience.
  • MS suite.


Job Description:

  • Must have a Strong Admin background and computer experience very fluent with MS suite/ MS word and Excel in an office setting.
  • Very detail oriented, be able to follow directions- being able to review requests, verify certifications through department of safety website - pull orders, control inventory and reorder as needed.
  • Answer phones, emails and respond to requests - complete reports (bi weekly/monthly) and track public records.


Roles and Responsibilities:

Ohio Fire Incident Reporting Management System (OFIRMS):

  • Process requests for public safety decals.
  • Approve/deny public safety decals.
  • Verify certification through department of public safety website.
  • Verify reporting through OFIRMS.
  • Verify vehicle type they are attempting to certify.
  • Print packing slip.
  • Separate out Decal and Maltese Cross per packing slip.
  • Mail out decals.
  • Approve Vendor account requests.
  • Watch for new vendor access requests and approve as they come in.
  • Process Public Safety Literature.
  • Receive and process orders for public safety literature.
  • Gather literature.
  • Ship to requestor.
  • Maintain inventory (requires some lifting).
  • Order inventory.


Acadis/Courses:

  • Verify class attendance is entered in Acadis system.
  • Graduate and/or adjust attendance based on instructor input.
  • Verify classes are in the system.
  • Serves as the proctor for IFSAC accredited class tests.
  • Requires occasional travel.


Serve as inventory control person for:

  • Thermal Fuses.
  • Smoke Alarms.
  • Co Alarms.
  • Hearing Impaired Alarms.
  • Literature.
  • Fire Extinguisher Simulator.
  • Kitchen Simulator.
  • Other FPB assigned equipment.


Reports and Documentation:

  • Completes Bi-Weekly Reports for Bureau Chief.
  • Completes Fire Council Report for Bureau Chief.
  • Completes monthly vehicle reports.
  • Completes other reports, forms or documentation assigned.
  • Serves as the first point of contact for phone calls to the bureau.
  • Answers emails in general email accounts.
  • Tracks Public Records Requests.
