Compensation: $61,360.00

Position Summary

The Site Medical Manager will oversee the clinical operations of our oncology site, primarily focusing on the administration of chemotherapy and the management of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). This role requires a dynamic leader with expertise in medical oncology who can ensure the highest standard of patient care, efficient clinic operations, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the oncology clinic, including chemotherapy infusion services.
  • Collaborate with medical oncologists, APPs, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards set forth by healthcare authorities and the organization.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to APPs, including mentorship, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
  • Facilitate patient care meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Serve as a liaison between the clinical team and administration to report progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay current with advancements in oncology care and facilitate the incorporation of new treatments and technologies into practice.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the oncology clinic.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with a specialization in Oncology.
  • Board certified in Medical Oncology
  • Active medical license to practice in Washington.
  • Strong understanding of chemotherapy protocols, patient safety, and oncology regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing healthcare teams, particularly APPs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $607,360.00 - $607,360.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
