Position Title: Material Handler Wage: $16.00/Hour Shifts: 1st Shift Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Material Handler position at a company in Janesville WI. Material Handler Responsibilities: - Package inbound material including assortment kit assembly using package labeling system and printers, automated packaging equipment, scales, tape guns, mechanical stapler, and shrink wrapping - Document packing activity using radio frequency scanners and keyboard data entry - Maintain stock of packaging supplies at packing stations - Pick orders on floor level of warehouse using non-powered industrial equipment. (Pallet jack & carts) - Perform cart put away on floor level of warehouse using non-powered industrial equipment - Observe all safety regulations and promote safe working habits - Maintain good housekeeping Requirements For Material Handler: - Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively - Must be able to push/pull up to 100 lbs on occasion (team lift) - Must be able to twist, bend, and stoop on a repetitive basis - Ability to learn internal software program and update inventory scanning devices and computers - Ability to learn to operate and safely utilize a variety of warehouse lift and product moving equipment - Ability to add and subtract - Ability to read and speak English and communicate with customers and coworkers - Ability to work as a team member and to work under specific instructions QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
