Linux BSP Engineer Category: Engineering Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-384078 Linux BSP Engineer Job Summary: We're looking for a Linux BSP Engineer to support the integration and debugging of supplier-delivered BSPs for automotive ECUs and domain controllers. This role is critical in hardware bring-up and ensuring stable operation across in-vehicle platforms like IVI and ADAS. Responsibilities: Integrate and debug Linux BSPs from third-party vendors Perform board bring-up, kernel tuning, and driver troubleshooting Collaborate with hardware and systems teams to validate functionality Ensure performance and quality standards are met for production readiness Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years in embedded Linux/BSP development Strong knowledge of Linux kernel, bootloaders (e.g., U-Boot), and device trees Experience with driver integration (CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO) Familiarity with JTAG, GDB, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes Experience working with BSPs from NXP, Renesas, Qualcomm, or TI Scripting in Python or Bash Nice to Have: Experience with Yocto build systems Background in functional safety (ISO 26262), AUTOSAR, or ASPICE Familiarity with IVI, ADAS, or other automotive platforms Knowledge of Git, Jira, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines Estimated Min Rate: $80.00 Estimated Max Rate: $100.00 Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
