Job Description Summary

Position Objective:

As a Temporary Fencing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the branch. This includes managing sales, lead Installers and installers as well as the safety, operational and financial reporting on each function.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Review all contracts raised on a daily basis, i.e., creations, amendments, suspensions, and terminations
  • Assess the need for purchasing equipment through feedback from salesmen, installers, customer feedback, supplier salesmen and Marketing Department Product Managers
  • Assess, modify, and approve sales' plan every week and ensuring that it is carried out appropriately
  • Coordinate project schedule with Outside Sales Rep. and Lead Installers
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all statutory requirements
  • Review the debt collection efforts (calls and/or visits made) on a daily basis
  • Ensure Outside Sales Representatives are aware of slow-moving equipment
  • Ensure Installers are aware of all equipment not available for rent
  • Ensure rental center yard, facility, and staff are in a presentable state, and equipment is staged in proper bundles and quantities
  • Handle dispatch duties for Lead Installers and ensure trucks and drivers understand and comply with DOT safety rules and regulations
  • Handle various reporting such as monthly rental income forecast, daily contract count, and capitol approval requests
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Business Management degree or equivalent work experience plus at least 3-4 years of Rental Industry experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Understanding of P&L and other key financial controls
  • Experience in outside sales or other experience in negotiation and influencing
  • Experience in construction or industrial markets helpful
  • High level of accountability, time management and willingness to learn all aspects of the business
Base Pay Range: $63,605.00 - 87,456.60

You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers team members the following time off from work, subject to Sunbelt's policies: twelve to twenty-five vacation days depending on years of service; five sick days; six paid holidays, two paid half day holidays, two floating holidays, one inclusion day, and one volunteer day (unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement).
