We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic professional to join our Minnesota - Wisconsin team as an Area Administrative Manager. In this leadership role, you will oversee administrative operations across the area, serve as a trusted partner to our leadership team, and champion excellence in communications, events, and team engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of strategic thinking, problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to inspire and collaborate with others. This is a full-time onsite position in our St. Louis Park office.
Responsibilities In the role of Area Administrative Manager, we'll count on you to:
- Oversee area-wide office administrative operations
- Coordinate, develop and administer area-wide administrative policies and procedures, and identify opportunities to continuously improve
- Supervise administrative support employees within the area; includes interviewing, hiring and training administrative employees
- Assist the area leadership with employee administration, executive administrative support, and preparation of operating plans and other special reports
- Oversee administrative budget and reporting
- Execute electronic signatory procedures for contracts, proposals, and business forms
- Manage both short and long range planning for area office space
- Manage area communications, including SharePoint and Engage; scheduling and preparing materials for meetings
- Proactively manage schedules and deadlines
- Provide oversight of internal staff events
- Support employee engagement committees
- Oversee reception desk coverage and ensure back-up for other administrative team members as needed
- Participate in regular meetings with area leadership
- Operate with a strong sense of customer service for internal clients
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates Degree
- Previous professional experience in the Engineering, Architecture, or Construction industry as an office administrator/manager
- Comfortable handling confidential information
- Experience developing internal processes and electronic filing systems
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 10 years related experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
- Ability to adapt to changing situations in a professional manner
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, SharePoint
