Position SummaryThe Mattox Sculpture Center is in need of two reliable and skilled students to assist in shop maintenance and monitoring. Duties include: Monitoring shop usage; Upholding safety standards; Light tool maintenance, Organizational tasks, and projects. This position will involve developing skills in lab management, tool maintenance, and shop practices. 10 - 20 hours per week. Preference will be given to graduate student applicants.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Must have knowledge of wood and metal shop safety standards
  • Must have knowledge of healthy tool function and anatomy
  • Must be able to self-initiate work projects and function productively without supervision
  • Must have previous wood and metal shop experience
