We are seeking an experienced Security Solutions Architect to join our growing go-to-market team. In this strategic overlay role, you will serve as a trusted security advisor to our customers and field sales teams, helping shape secure, scalable solutions across hybrid, public, and private cloud environments. You'll work cross-functionally with account teams, product specialists, and engineering to translate business requirements into secure technical architectures that support customer success and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Security Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on cybersecurity, compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS, HIPAA, PCI), and secure architecture best practices across cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
  • Sales Enablement: Partner with generalist solution engineers and account executives to co-develop secure, differentiated solutions for customers, especially in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, etc).
  • Customer Engagement: Lead security-focused discovery sessions, whiteboarding workshops, and executive briefings to understand client needs and articulate value.
  • Solution Design: Design and validate security architectures, guiding the integration of cloud-native and third-party security controls (IAM, encryption, network segmentation, SIEM/SOAR, etc.) into customer solutions.
  • Technical Validation: Drive technical proof points including demos, pilots, and RFx responses with a security-first lens.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of the evolving threat landscape and emerging technologies; contribute to internal knowledge bases and represent security capabilities in go-to-market initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to provide input on new products, feature enhancements and trends in customer requirements.
  • Training & Upskilling: Support enablement efforts to upskill internal teams and train partners on core security principles and patterns.


Qualifications

Minimum:

  • A BA/BS Degree with 6+ years of experience, or a MS Degree with 4+ years of experience, or a Ph.D with one year of experience, or 10 years of overall experience without a degree
  • 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solution architecture, or technical consulting role, with a minimum of 3 years focused on cybersecurity.
  • Understanding of security architectures with a strong focus on hybrid (on-prem + cloud ) and multi-cloud (VMware / Private Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP) environments.
  • Familiarity with modern security tooling and practices (e.g., Zero Trust, CNAPP, SASE, XDR, etc).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders.


Preferred:

  • Industry certifications a plus: CISSP, CCSP, CISM, AWS/Azure/GCP Security Specialties.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as finance and/or healthcare.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and acting as a bridge between business needs and technical execution.
  • Passion for customer advocacy, secure design, and building long-term trust.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence without direct authority.


USD 126,200.00 - 189,200.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $126,200.00 - $189,200.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $52,800.00.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
