Summary:

We are seeking an innovative and forward-thinking Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead and elevate our global human capital strategy in alignment with firmwide goals. This executive will be a key member of the leadership team, driving workforce transformation, international growth, and culture evolution across our multi-state and cross-border operations.

The CHRO will oversee all aspects of HR, including global talent acquisition, international M&A integration and payroll, executive compensation, succession planning, workforce analytics, organizational design, and change management. This is an opportunity to build and scale a people-first, high-performance culture in a rapidly evolving professional services environment.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the Managing Partner and Executive Leadership Team on workforce planning, organizational agility, and firm growth initiatives.
  • Build and execute a global HR strategy that aligns with the firm's business objectives, vision, and values.
  • Lead transformation efforts across people, process, and platforms to support scale, performance, and integration.
  • Guide executive conversations on human capital risks, succession, DEI, and talent strategy.
  • Collaborate with executive operational leaders to drive the firm's success.

International Growth & M&A Integration

  • Lead end-to-end HR integration for global mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures-including due diligence, talent evaluation, cultural integration, and operational alignment.
  • Build scalable frameworks for managing an international workforce, including consistent global HR policies and processes, with regional adaptability.

Executive Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Oversee the development of executive and firmwide compensation philosophy, including base, merit, bonus, and incentive structures.
  • Drive pay transparency, internal equity, and external competitiveness across all roles and geographies.
  • Provide strategic oversight of global payroll operations across multiple jurisdictions and countries.

People Analytics & Workforce Insights

  • Leverage HR analytics and reporting to support strategic decision-making and measure impact.
  • Improve dashboards and KPIs for tracking culture, retention, DEI, engagement, and leadership effectiveness.

Compliance, Risk & Ethics

  • Ensure compliance with global labor laws, employment practices and processes, and industry regulations.
  • Oversee immigration strategy and execution for international mobility and staffing.
  • Partner with legal and finance to manage employment risk and ensure audit readiness.

Culture and Inclusion

  • Champion a culture of inclusion, feedback, and accountability.
  • Lead firmwide DEI strategies, employee engagement initiatives, and employer branding efforts.
  • Develop leadership and succession pipelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including 6+ years in an executive-level HR role.
  • Deep expertise in global HR operations, international M&A integration, and executive compensation.
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-state, and cross-border workforces.
  • Demonstrated success influencing C-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • Public accounting or professional services experience strongly preferred.
  • Certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or GPHR highly desirable.
  • Visionary, people-first leader with a strategic mindset and operational rigor.
  • High emotional intelligence with a strong sense of ethics and confidentiality.
  • Adept at leading through ambiguity, change, and transformation.
  • Collaborative, empowering, and data-informed decision-maker.

Compensation Range: $200,000 - $260,000 salary per year
