MRO Buyer

Hensley Industries is seeking a strategic-minded and results-focused MRO Buyer to join its dynamic Purchasing team in the Dallas, Texas headquarters. This person will select and manage suppliers who have the capacity and capability of manufacturing Hensley MRO products for Maintenance, Repairs and Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and facilitates purchases, bids, proposals, and quotes for various departments. Work with Foundry personnel in support of the activities within the Foundry.
• Oversees contract functions for MRO purchases as well as construction related contracts.
• Evaluate quotations, prepare reports and spreadsheets related to purchasing function.
• Interact with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, on time delivery and quality standards are met.
• Issue PO's
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must know and comply with the Komatsu Worldwide Code of Business Conduct, KAC Code of Conduct, Hensley Environmental Policies, Hensley Safety Policies, and Hensley Quality Policies. Must ensure the companies PPE (Product/Process Evaluation) process is followed.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years procurement experience. Specific MRO experience a big plus.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time to accomplish work.
• Ability to perform price/cost analysis.
• Strong customer service, vendor skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships. with employees and vendors in a complex, ever moving system.
• Must be well organized.
• Proficient in Microsoft components. Above average skills with Excel.
• Strong problem resolution skills with vendors and supply chain.
• Strong interpersonal skills to deal with interdepartmental challenges and work as a team.
• Must have previous sourcing skills to find new suppliers as needed.
• Must have previous MRP experience. SAP experience a big plus
