Project Administrator II

RK&K is excited to add a Project Administrator to our growing Colorado team. This position will provide on-site technical management for construction projects. The RK&K Construction Management team has served in the oversight and delivery of new alignments as well as capacity and interchange improvements which include ITS construction and Tolling infrastructure conversions and express lanes as well as environmental construction projects.

Essential Functions

• Directs and assigns specific tasks to administrative staff, contract support specialists and inspectors
• Exercises initiative and independent judgment in the solution of work problems
• Assists in all phases of construction projects
• Responsible for the progress and final estimates throughout the construction project duration
• Performs internal quality assurance reviews between assignments to promote contract compliance and evaluate CEI staff
• Performs internal constructability reviews.
• Assist the office lead with business development efforts as the firm expands organically in the Colorado market.

Required Skills and Experience

• A Civil Engineering degree* plus ten (10) years of engineering experience in construction of major road or bridge structures.
• Experience having performed roadway and bridge project related duties in the State of Colorado
• Familiarity with CDOT Specifications and procedures
• CDOT SWMP Certification

*Master's Degree in Engineering may be substituted for one (1) year of engineering experience
