Position: Business and Financial Management Analyst, Senior - FAA Function: Financial Analysis, Logistics, Inventory, Travel Coordination Location:Atlantic City, NJ (FAA Tech Center) Remote Work Option: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite) Salary Range: $100- $150k Security Requirements Must be a US citizen or a legal resident for three of the past five years. Job Summary This position will provide experienced financial analyst support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Years of Relevant Experience The position requires 15+ equivalent years of experience in government business and financial management and analysis. Specific experience with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is required. FAA budget execution experience is preferred. A Master's degree or Ph.D. may count for three years of experience. Essential Job Functions The following duties are normal for this position. Individuals will assist in the efficient and effective operation of the program office, providing on-site program execution and financial management support to analyze, resolve and track Federal budgetary and other financial issues with emphasis on financial execution support activities. In the program execution and financial management support area, the individual's activities include but are not limited to:
Individuals will be required to contribute effectively to working groups through oral and written communication and cooperative working relationships. Detail oriented, self-driven individuals sought. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business Management, Finance, or Accounting. Graduate and Post Graduate degrees are a plus. Master's degree is a plus and may count as additional years of experience. Skills Requirements High level of proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office Products. Strong analytical background and good interpersonal skills. Proficiency in use of FAA financial accounting tools/systems. Requires the ability to evaluate, audit, deduce, and/or assess data using established criteria. Includes exercising discretion in determining actual or probable consequences and in referencing such evaluation to identify and select alternatives.
