We're looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our Milwaukee team and lead all day-to-day HR operations at our local facility. What You'll Do:
As our HR Generalist, you'll be the go-to person for everything HR-related at our Milwaukee site. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing employee records, time & attendance, payroll data, and confidential files
- Leading onboarding, orientation, and employee relations initiatives
- Supporting site managers in coaching, discipline, and performance improvement processes
- Advising managers on employment laws, compliance, and company policies
- Assisting with payroll, benefits administration, and annual open enrollment
- Partnering with safety and benefits teams on return-to-work programs, wellness, and workers' compensation
- Coordinating employee engagement events, wellness programs, and internal communications
- Analyzing compensation trends and assisting with pay structure recommendations
- Managing terminations, conducting exit interviews, and handling grievance resolutions
- Participating in the performance review process and training compliance initiatives
You'll also act as the local face of our HR department-someone employees can trust, confide in, and rely on for support and guidance.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required
- At least 2 years of HR experience (HR generalist experience in manufacturing is a plus)
- PHR certification a plus
- Strong working knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems (experience with Paylocity a plus)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage sensitive situations professionally, and build positive relationships across all levels
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
