What the day will look like

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Establish strong rapport with MW leaders/colleagues and collaborate to develop and execute the organization's strategic priorities.
  • Monitor performance against key business objectives and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Be informed of financial performance, operational metrics, and market trends to inform decision-making

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee the operational cadence of the MW, including planning and handling leadership team meetings, assist with monthly business reviews, and cross-functional initiatives
  • Support month-end close efforts to drive execution in region (f/u on TBB, lead sprint to the finish calls each quarter)
  • Support improved operational metrics across the region on client delivery (certificate center implementation, analyzer execution and next gen client delivery)
  • Partner with key collaborators (Growth Ops, Finance, HR, Marketing, etc.) to ensure the effective execution of critical initiatives (interns, apprentices, etc.)
  • Help plan, prepare and implement internal events (Town Halls, Chicagoland colleague events)
  • Prepare presentations, briefings, and reports for Midwest Regional Leadership teams (MBR, Town Hall, Midwest Happenings monthly newsletter)
  • Lead the planning on key events and meetings
  • MW Monthly Leader meeting- Assist with agenda/content creation and share out to executive leadership
  • MW Producer Calls/Meetings-help arrange
  • MW Town Hall content prep and presentations 3-4 times a year
  • MBR - Meeting presentation, liaise with MW Regional Sales Leader/Health RPL/Director of Finance
  • Partner with marketing on ticketing management and ROI Reporting
  • Supports utilization strategy and tracking or similar of sporting event tickets and appropriate usage

Program Management & Special Projects

  • Take notes at MW meetings internal and insurer and client meetings and track follow-up items
  • Lead high-impact, cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery of results
  • Handle competing priorities across teams and provide guidance on resource allocation
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps, streamlining processes, and implementing best practices

Leadership & Team Enablement

  • Act as a thought partner to the MW Regional Leadership team providing insights and recommendations on key business challenges.
  • Facilitate collaboration and foster alignment across diverse teams.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, enhancing leadership capabilities and overall team performance.

Partner with Regional Sales Leader on New Business Initiatives / Growth:

  • Strategize on prospect/client events in the MW and support execution
  • Support Opportunity Day, local growth initiatives
  • Support Business planning per market (heavy emphasis on Chicago)

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position is $101,400 to $135,200 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
