Description
The Construction Project Manager is responsible foroverseeing all phases of a construction project, from planning and design through execution and completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.

Job Duties:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with architects, engineers, and key external and internal stakeholders
- Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring costs are tracked and controlled. Lead value engineering exercises as needed
- Create and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and identify potential delays or issues
- Manage and allocate resources, including internal stakeholders, materials, and equipment. Ensure design standards are regularly reviewed and updated to keep current
- Ensure construction work meets quality standards including conducting periodic site walks to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to the project, such as safety hazards, delays, or cost overruns
- Lead and motivate project teams, including internal stakeholders, subcontractors and construction workers, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and providing regular updates on project progress and effectively identify and resolve project issues and challenges
- Interpret and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Partner with vendor management to negotiate favorable contract terms and manage administrative tasks related to contract submissions, statements of work and change orders
Essential Skills:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration is preferred
- Minimum 4 years' experience in project management, construction project related preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and successfully manage multiple projects with competing priorities
- Proven sound judgment, work ethic, and professional integrity with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong analytical and writing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to identify areas in need of business improvement and lead initiative for change
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Certification/License: CCMA (Construction Mgmt. Assoc. of America), CMIT, CACM or CCM preferred
Location: Hillsboro Corporate Office - Hillsboro, OR 97124 Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR: $95,000 to $115,000 annually + annual bonus
