Description

Summary/Purpose of the Position:

The Die-Cutter Operator operates die-cutting equipment, producing high-quality die-cut labels and materials in an efficient and accurate manner. This includes setting up the equipment, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring quality control.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:



  • Set up and operate die-cutting equipment according to job specifications to ensure efficient and accurate production
  • Record the details of each job or batch of jobs completed on one tool in the ERP system to maintain accurate records of the production process
  • Conduct detailed quality control checks on die-cut materials, identifying and addressing any defects or issues that may impact the final product.
  • Ensure that all materials and tools are organized and readily accessible in a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist with routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, providing support to the Die-Cutter Lead as needed.
  • Follow all relevant safety procedures and guidelines, reporting any concerns or incidents to the Die-Cutter Lead.
  • Indirectly and directly responsible for product quality.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in die-cutting or related field
  • Mechanical aptitude and technical skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic problem-solving abilities



Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary
