Daikin Applied is seeking a talented Sr Manager, Central Security Office. The Senior Manager of the Central Security Office (CSO) will play a pivotal role in ensuring security organizational excellence. This role will lead the development and execution of cybersecurity processes, procedures, resource management, delivery, audit, continual improvement, metrics, KPIs, and reporting. This leader will provide a critical oversight and support function for all security towers, including enterprise, product, threat management, platforms and integrity.

As a key leader, the Senior Manager of the Central Security Office will work closely with cross-functional teams, inside and outside of Digital, and will help ensure frictionless integration of robust cybersecurity capabilities across Daikin Applied Americas. What you will do:

• Strategic Leadership:
  
  
  
  • Help define and implement the organization's CSO strategy and roadmap
  • Develop, maintain and drive the DAA cybersecurity organizational roadmap
  • Advocate for a frictionless security philosophy and delivery excellence across DAA and within all functional security towers
  
  
  
  

• CSO Execution:
  
  
  
  • Collaborate with enterprise, product, platforms, integrity, and threat management operators and leaders to ensure optimal security outcomes
  • Establish methods and procedures to ensure excellence in alignment with Digital and Cybersecurity strategy and standards
  • Ensure maximum value in delivery of cybersecurity processes, procedures, resource management, audit, continual improvement, metrics, KPIs, and reporting
  
  
  
  

• Risk Management:




• Support risk assessments and vulnerability analyses for all systems and engagements
• Help develop, evolve and support GRC and compliance functions
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)

• Incident Response:




• Support incident response process for cybersecurity events with a focus on communications and organizational support
• Work with internal teams to manage and document security vulnerabilities
• Develop post-incident reports and oversee the execution of corrective measures

• Team Leadership:




• Foster collaboration and exhibit leadership as a senior member of a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering growth and technical excellence
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to cross-functional teams on security best practices

  • Partner with all Digital and DAA stakeholders to ensure mutual success of cross-functional missions and business priorities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in technical delivery
• 5+ years experience in a strategic role focused on security
• Understanding of security programs, process, procedure, strategy, and delivery methodologies within industrial manufacturing
• Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards, such as 62443 and NIST
• Service delivery domain expertise; end-to-end execution of technical initiatives with a focus on engagement in complex environments
• Proven track record supporting the development, maintenance, improvement, and delivery of major security programs, including enterprise, product and platform
• Strong experience with cybersecurity processes, procedures, delivery, resource management, audit, continual improvement, metrics, KPIs, and reporting
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in computer science, management, or related field
• Industry Experience: Demonstrated success in commercial HVAC and controls. Direct experience supporting customer requirements, channel, dealers, and distributors is a plus

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CSSLP or 62443
• Experience with Agile, ADO, PMO

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $126,100 - $215,000 (+ 25-30% bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
