Job Summary
The C Street PMA Plant Supervisor oversees daily operations, emphasizing safety, production efficiency, logistics coordination, and customer satisfaction. This role requires managing facility maintenance, inventory control, and compliance with safety and environmental standards while ensuring seamless communication between clients, vendors, and internal teams. Additionally, the manager is responsible for strategic planning, including annual reviews, budget management, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee and resolve safety concerns during daily production and on-site work.
- Work with EPC Safety Manager for safety concerns - PPE needs, safety concerns, near-miss and incident reporting, and safety and environmental projects/inspections.
- Approve and sign off on confined space work & hot work permits, working at heights permits, spill reports, and accident reports for each project.
- Conduct observations weekly and report near-misses/incidents through safety app.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment within the plant and office; continue to meet 6S standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and EPC team on delivery of material/additive delivery. Assist in offloading material when necessary/able.
- Manage logistics for loading and delivery of products required by customers, including third-party and in-house logistics.
- Maintain contact with EPC facilities regarding asphalt oil, PMA, emulsion, and other supplies.
- Provide customer contact support and assist client service representatives with logistics-related matters.
- Manage the scale house, ticketing, collection, and deliveries handled by in-house and third-party logistics.
- Assist the QC department by monitoring and recording the results of finished products.
- Communicate with QC/QA about quality issues and problems that may arise during production.
- Assist with PMA productions and forklift operations as needed, including offloading raw materials at the plant.
- Transport PMA samples to and from the QC lab.
Education & Additional Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or Job-Related Experience
- Ability to navigate Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and other web-based programs.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret specifications, scale tickets, ADOT regulations and environmental laws and all required certifications.
- It is necessary to be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- High degree of reasoning ability and problem-solving skills. Flexible in adapting to changing needs, detail oriented and adept at analytical problem solving. Demonstrate independence in problem solving and the ability to arrive at solutions that meet company goals and objectives.
