We are looking for a Senior Recruiter - Canada in 6620 Kitimat Rd, Unit 2, Mississauga, ON L5N 2B8 CAN. Your mission will be to:
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Senior Recruiter is responsible for executing sourcing and recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent across various provinces in Canada and USA. This role requires a strong understanding of Canadian hiring regulations, employment laws, and regional recruitment nuances. The Senior Recruiter will collaborate with HR leadership to refine and implement best practices for talent acquisition, ensuring compliance with all recruiting and hiring processes. Additionally, this role may support acquisitions, immigration, and relocation efforts in collaboration with subject matter experts and HR leadership.
YOUR PROFILE
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including talent acquisition strategy and execution across multiple Canadian provinces.
In-depth knowledge of Canadian employment laws and hiring practices.
Proven track record in sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates for high-volume roles across various industries and levels.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal) with the ability to align business strategies with targeted talent acquisition plans.
Strong project management capabilities, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Familiarity with Google for Business tools; recruiting experience in both the US and Canada.
Ability to work independently, solve problems, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Experience working with staffing agencies and relocation vendors.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts across Canada, ensuring compliance with regional hiring laws and best practices.
Act as a subject matter expert on Canadian employment and recruiting practices, advising hiring managers on optimal hiring strategies.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies to build a diverse and qualified candidate pipeline.
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and provide market insights to facilitate effective decision-making.
Manage relocation processes for employees moving to or within Canada.
Support HR leadership with workforce planning, acquisitions, and employer branding initiatives.
Optimize the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure efficient hiring workflows and accurate reporting.
Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure and improve hiring process effectiveness.
Mentor and train hiring managers and internal recruiters on best practices and compliance in recruitment.
Lead recruitment events, job fairs, and networking initiatives to enhance the employer brand.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Communication:
Collaborate regularly with hiring managers, HR leadership, and business leaders to align recruitment strategies with organizational objectives.
Maintain relationships with staffing agencies, relocation vendors, and recruitment technology providers.
Engage with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience.

Travel:
Moderate travel required for recruitment events, training sessions, and company meetings across Canada and the United States.
Compensation Range:
110,000 - 135,000 CAD Annual Salary
