Job Summary (Primary function)
The Product Strategy Manager/Sr. Manager develops the marketing strategy and leads the development and execution of key personnel and non-personnel marketing initiatives. The Manager works collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders including Sales, Market Insights, Medical Affairs, the MLR team and external agency partners.

Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)

  • Budget preparation and maintenance.
  • Ensure seamless sharing of information, best practices, and lessons learned across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain a high degree of therapeutic area knowledge.
  • Work closely with key oncology stakeholders including nurses, hospitals, office staff, GPOs, and professional societies.
  • Coordination with Commercial Analysis and Market Insights to incorporate program learnings and customer insights into future initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sales, Sales Operations and other key functional areas including Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Legal.
  • Develop and execute promotional programs and tactics for all team members, manage through the MLR process, and ensure alignment and integration across channels.
  • Develop and implement an integrated marketing strategy focused on healthcare professionals to achieve business objectives and sales targets, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all potential candidates.

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)

  • Strong communication, presentation, analytic and strategic capabilities.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, particularly in hematology, oncology, or inflammation, is preferred but not required. Candidates with diverse backgrounds in related fields are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience developing multi-channel promotional plans for pharmaceutical or biotechnology products, with an emphasis on diverse and inclusive marketing strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with agencies and other team members.
  • Experience working with external brand agencies and vendors on a day-to-day basis and managing promotional budgets.
  • Relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology product marketing, with a focus on skills and achievements, rather than a specific number of years.
