FTE: 1.0 Shift: Day Schedule: Tue-F Position Summary The Perioperative Core Coordinator s responsible for providing guidance, clinical expertise, and mentoring to members of the assigned health care team within the specialty while optimizing available resources to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Acts as a clinical resource for perioperative services personnel within the specialty using professional guidelines and evidence-based standards Coordinates perioperative patient care with other members of the surgical team Performs surgical case management with other members of the surgical team Provides educational resources and coordinate with the perioperative educator regarding perioperative team education specific to the specialty Acts as a consultant to advise the perioperative team in areas of specialty expertise Assists perioperative personnel in evaluating practice and in creating strategies for further improvement within the specialty Requirements Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS) Basic life support (BLS) certification Five (5) years varied surgical services experience CNOR preferred Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $47.13 - $84.57 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
