Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with a talented team of data scientists, engineers, and strategists to develop and deploy cutting-edge data science solutions for our top business priorities.
  • Lead technical initiatives that harness diverse data sources to enhance the design & development of outreach prioritization engines (e.g. Next Best Action), analyze and optimize marketing, and address other related challenges.
  • Craft compelling data visualizations and present your findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, making complex insights accessible and actionable.
  • Engage with the broader data science community to keep up with the latest methodologies, software, and data developments.
  • Bring your innovative and ethical mindset to work, fostering openness, transparency, and collaboration.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • At least two years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a focus on building data pipelines/products and experience/interest in analyzing large healthcare datasets.
  • High proficiency in Python, SQL, and version control, and experience with cloud data environments (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Deep knowledge of statistical methodologies and machine learning algorithms.
  • Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams to develop solutions and create prototypes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional ability to present findings to non-technical audiences using effective data visualization techniques.

Education and Experience:

  • PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science) or a Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in applying data science to complex problems, along with a broad understanding of core statistical principles.
  • Experience working with real-world health datasets (e.g., EHR, insurance claims, patient demographics) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the biopharma or healthcare industry is a plus.

Pay Range:

$127,400 - $191,100

Disclosure Statement:

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
