Job Summary |
This position is responsible for the care and feeding of the university owned horses and the facilities in which they reside.

Essential Functions |
The primary responsibility would be weekend feeding and pasture checks. Typical hours are Saturday and Sunday from 7:00a.m.-9:00a.m. and 4:00p.m.-5:00p.m.
This position is available for 2-4 weekends per month depending on availability. Some additional hours may be available during the week and may continue into the fall semester if interested.
Additional work may include activities such as:
- Activities such as feed coverage during vacations
- Grooming
- Pasture maintenance or other husbandry activities depending on interest

Minimum Qualifications |
- Currently enrolled as an Auburn University undergraduate student.
- Experience handling and caring for horses, with the ability to recognize illness or injuries.
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to learn and follow directions.
