The Compliance Manager (Life Sciences - Meetings & Events) is responsible for reviewing final billing documentation to assure budget and billing accuracy, while ensuring we meet clients' SLAs, update all quality control metrics, as well as follow HCP compliance guidelines and reporting.

Reporting and Working Relationships

  • Reports to Compliance Manager for Healthcare Solutions or Operations Manager. Will work directly with client's Aggregate Spend & Data Manager. Works with Meeting Event Managers, Project Accountants and may interact with Guest Services regarding air travel, suppliers/vendors, client and Health Care Providers (HCPs Interacts with HCPs for issues related to missing data, expense reports and honoraria payment questions and support on an as needed basis.

Primary Responsibilities

  • 75% - Generates aggregate spend and quality control reports and is responsible for resolution of missing data and compliance guidelines issues. Processes and monitors HCP (Healthcare Provider attendees) expense and honoraria payments and is primary contact for Client and HCPs post program. Maintains and enhances Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the HCP payments and final billing process. Maintaining data in client's instance of Cvent. Ensuring Meeting Event Managers are inputting proper Contract Information into Cvent in timely manner. Confirming websites for HCP meeting are compliant and maintaining updates on templates. Managing HCP Documentation Templates, such as Sign in Sheets, Expense Form, Deviation Grids and other meeting materials. Manages local sponsorship payments, government proffer letters and corporate meeting card reconciliation.

  • 25% OTHER: Works on special projects as assigned by Manager or Implementation Manager. Auditing all final billing documentation to assure budget and billing accuracy and work with client on any outstanding items. Maintaining data in clients instance of Cvent including Contracting, SLAs, Custom Fields and Templates. Expert exchange reconciliation, planning support and faculty travel.

Qualifications

  • College degree or prior event coordination experience for a Med Device or Pharma client required. Hospitality, finance, or mathematics related degree a plus.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and writtencommunication and customer service skills to convey compliance requirements clearly to staff and stakeholders

  • Strong computer and typing skills, extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (including Excel basic formulas and calculations) and the ability to learn new technology quickly

  • Ability to analyze and manipulate data and create custom reports

  • Proven organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while maintaining thorough documentation for compliance audits

  • Strong Cvent Skills

  • Cincinnati, OH/Raritan, NJ based candidates highly preferred
