As a Compensation Analyst you will support critical programs and processes including our compensation cycle reporting, systems configurations, and market pricing data management. You will help to analyze and administer our compensation programs and processes for Nintendo of America and our subsidiary companies in support of the organization's strategic objectives.
In this role, you will utilize your expertise in supporting various compensation systems including merit and bonus processing systems, salary survey management systems, and demonstrate the ability to participate in salary surveys and work with salary survey data in support of the organization's strategic objectives all while delivering in a thoughtful, collaborative way.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Engage in complex, compensation data analysis including program performance, scenario modeling and cost analysis to assess the financial impact of compensation investments.
  • Serve as a resource on compensation data within various compensation systems and perform regular compensation data audits to support accurate administration of compensation programs.
  • Conduct research, provide detailed analysis and make recommendations to resolve compensation related challenges.
  • Analyze external market data to develop recommendations for maintaining or improving competitive pay programs.
  • Reviews and evaluates job descriptions for exempt/non-exempt status, makes recommendations regarding job titles and determines appropriate pay levels based on market competitiveness and internal job comparisons.
  • Participates in the administration of salary increase and bonus programs, including evaluation of salary and bonus recommendations from managers, preparation and validation of reports for senior management and periodic systems testing.
  • Creates and maintains job codes in the HRIS system including assignment of EEO and worker's compensation codes.
  • Partners with Sr Compensation Consultants, HR business partners, recruiters and hiring managers to conduct compensation analysis necessary to support recruiting efforts.
  • Manages salary survey participation, survey database maintenance and survey invoice process and conducts in depth analysis of published salary survey data to determine appropriate utilization.
  • Monitors federal and state legislative changes relating to compensation programs.
  • Develop and maintain compensation metrics, conduct ad hoc analyses related to compensation and assess trends from data analysis and effectively represent data visually in charts and graphs for leaders.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:



  • Three years of compensation experience
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management skills and ability to make recommendations based on data
  • Strong to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel specifically formulas, pivot tables and vlookups
  • Ability to work to independently and simultaneously handle multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly confidential, fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with various compensation systems including merit and bonus processing systems, salary survey management systems, and the ability to work with survey vendors, participate in salary surveys and work with salary survey data

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $77,500 - $124,000 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
