Technical Recruiter
Overview:
As part of the Human Resources team, the Technical Recruiter will develop methods and have responsibility for the full cycle recruiting and sourcing of the most highly qualified candidates for positions with Marotta Controls.
Responsibilities:


  • Recruitment for exempt & non-exempt positions
  • ATS management (Paycor knowledge a plus)
  • Development of robust candidate pools/channels
  • Conduct searches to include active and passive candidates along with development of candidate pools for future hiring
  • Utilize & manage internal sourcing tools
  • Proactively identify new candidate sourcing tools
  • Work with Talent Acquisition team to develop sourcing/recruiting strategies
  • Serve as a resource and coach to hiring managers on employment and organizational development matters
  • Partner with HRBP's through-out the recruitment process to recruit and hire highest qualified talent in timely manner
  • Work with team members and managers to design general and specific interview guidelines/questions
  • Participate in screening and interviewing
  • Work with internal resources in creating employment advertising that will attract strong pool of candidates that is distinctive for market and chosen media
  • Utilize and be knowledgeable of all business and social media sites for employment advertising
  • Achieve "Best in Class" corporate image as "Employer of Choice" in print ads and all one-on-one and group presentations
  • Visit educational/vocational schools for Job Fairs, career events or Brand building/Employer of Choice efforts as needed


Additional responsibilities (if/as needed):


  • Supporting On-boarding and orientations by assisting HR team with new hires
  • Back-up to HR team members
  • Participate in intern and CO-OP programs, career days and student visits


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experienced with the Full Life Cycle Recruiting process
  • Minimum 3-5 years full time in-house corporate recruiting experience
  • Engineering/technical recruitment experience highly preferred
  • Machine shop/manufacturing recruitment experience preferred
  • Recruitment experience within the Defense/Aerospace industry preferred
  • Social and Business media recruiting experience an asset
  • ATS experience
  • Creative writing skills for JDs and employment ads
  • Knowledgeable with best practices in interviewing and applicant behavioral and functional testing desired
  • Proven relationship building skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Versed in employment law, affirmative action and diversity a plus
  • Must be a US Citizen

This position is at our Parsippany, NJ office location.
