The Clinical Teacher will play a crucial role in the education and development of nursing students by providing oversight in clinical settings. This position requires a deep commitment to nursing education, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to inspire and mentor future nurses. ACA Variable Position Responsibilities Clinical instruction Collaboration with clinical facility staff Record keeping, evaluating, and grading student work Supervise, mentor, and evaluate students in the clinical setting Professional and effective communication and collaboration with students, clinical staff, faculty and program administrators Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher: A minimum of a BSN is required; a master's degree in nursing is preferred. Registered Nurse: Must hold a valid RN license in Utah or a Nursing Compact state 1 year of clinical nursing experience BLS Certification, current Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. A commitment to ethical, professional conduct, and compliance with relevant nursing regulations. Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing. Strong organizational skills. Attention to detail. Ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple projects. Ability to adapt to changing conditions or work assignments. Excellent interpersonal abilities. Cultural sensitivity and an ability to build rapport with a diverse workforce in multicultural settings.
