As a Security Professional - Industrial Security in New Bern, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

In a manufacturing and industrial location, our Security Officers are tasked with monitoring designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. This unarmed role involves conducting routine checks, maintaining a visible presence, and being approachable to assist employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $14.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions at the location.
• Assist in maintaining a secure environment by being observant and reporting any unusual activities or security-related incidents.
• Collaborate with team members and management to address any security-related concerns or issues that arise during patrols.
• Engage with employees and visitors in a professional manner to promote a sense of security within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• New South Wales Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
