THE POSITION

Do you have strong organizational and attention to detail skills? The Department of Revenue, Bureau of Pennsylvania State Lottery, is looking for a highly motivated and dependable Stock Clerk 3. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate PA Lottery warehouse inventory and providing warehouse support as needed to other Lottery divisions. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this vital role, you will maintain PA Lottery warehouse freight by receiving and signing for deliveries, verifying paperwork, updating tracking log, notifying purchasing area of deliveries, and distributing freight by forklift or pallet jack. Work involves verifying the contents of boxes received by comparing items with log sheets, noting any discrepancies, and taking appropriate action. You will scan boxes of ticket stock that are returned from Area Lottery Offices into Lottery back-office system where a determination will be made whether the stock is to be destroyed or redistributed. This includes placing returned tickets in appropriate boxes and coordinating the destruction of tickets.

Additional duties to include:

  • Conducting a semi-annual inventory of materials used by PA Lottery and maintaining an accurate running inventory
  • Maintaining a database of refused and overgood deliveries from third party vendors
  • Traveling to PA Lottery area offices to deliver supplies and pick up returns

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Three years of experience in stores control work, including one year of experience with responsibility for the operation of a small storeroom; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a high school or vocational school; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirement:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
