Our team in Space & Defense is looking for an Test Engineer to join them. You will report to the Test Development Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia.

To be considered for Test Engineer, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or Physics degree.

• Experience with LabVIEW or Python performing the task below

  • Knowledge of programming structures and algorithms

  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings

  • Ability to troubleshoot and isolate hardware failures

• Proficiency with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, etc)

As a Test Engineer, you will:

• Maintain and troubleshoot automated test equipment (ATE)

• Develop test software for ATE and other systems

• Monitor ATE performance; support root cause and corrective action (RCCA) of test anomalies

• Collaborate with engineering teams to validate test methods and verify accuracy of test instructions

• Collaborate with development team members on system integrations

• Perform test equipment gauge repeatability and reproducibility (GRR)

• Support production personnel to resolve technical issues during manufacturing and test
